The cast and creative team behind GOD WITH US gathered in the Washington, D.C. area for a special premiere celebration, and the crowd showed up. More than 4,000 people filled First Baptist Glenarden for what has been billed as a historic premiere.
The evening brought together cast members, filmmakers, invited guests and supporters for a celebration of storytelling, faith and community, and gave audiences an early look at the film before it opens in select theaters on November 13, 2026.
Written and directed by Jimmy Jenkins, GOD WITH US stars Aspen Kennedy and Ashley Olivia Fisher, alongside an ensemble cast that includes Rotimi, Roger Guenveur Smith, Ashley Rios, Gregory Alan Williams, Clifton Powell and Lil Rel Howery.
The film is a modern-day parable about faith, family, grace and the unexpected ways love can transform our lives. It follows inner-city childhood sweethearts Mary Anne Thomas and Joseph “Junie” Love as they embark on a divine mission that tests their faith, challenges their future and reveals the extraordinary power of unconditional love.
