Marvin Sapp has a fresh reminder for anyone who feels counted out: your story isn’t over. His new single “He’s Not Finished” is available now everywhere music is streamed and is currently impacting radio.
The song leads into his 17th album, Restoration, which is now available to pre-save and pre-order ahead of its release later this fall in partnership with Roc Nation Distribution. The album was recorded live at The Chosen Vessel Church.
“We all need refreshing, redemption and restoration,” says Sapp. “When I started recording this album, that is what kept stirring in me. We live in a culture that writes people off because of mistakes and mishaps, but that’s not what God does, and this album is a reminder of that.”
Marvin wrote most of the album himself and co-wrote “He’s Not Finished” with Stan Jones. “All of us have had moments where life did not look the way we thought it would,” says Jones. “This song lets us know that we can’t say ‘it’s the end of our story’ in the middle of a disappointing chapter.”
