Tori Kelly is a pop artist who has created a beautiful work of art called Hiding Place. This gospel album is infused with R & B and pop-inspired sounds that offer listeners hope when they’re feeling lonely or in a space of despair. Kelly has songs that have full choir backgrounds along with songs that have only the sound of her angelic gift. She is a true artist and has used her gift to ensure she has given reverence to God, while also pushing her vocals to new levels. The album was also produced by grammy-award winner, Kirk Franklin. 

One song titled, “Just as Sure” featuring Jonathan McReynolds, is a soft ballad that talks about the belief a person has about how much God loves him or her and how that love is reciprocated. The song is filled with similes and metaphors to offer a clear vision and understanding of the love that is given while also giving a tender, sweet feeling to listeners. You can literally feel the love that is being sung about. 

On a different note, Kelly has a song with Christian Hip Hop artist, Lecrae, titled “I’ll Find You”. This song is very inspirational, again offering hope to those who listen. It simply states “Fight a little longer my friend, it’s all worth it in the end. But when you got nobody to turn to, just hold and I’ll find you…” These lyrics alone speak volumes to what God will do if you just hold on and fight! When you don’t know what else to do or where to go, don’t worry. God is going to find you if you just keep up the good fight and hold on. Stay persistent and don’t give up, even in the midst of a storm.
