Kirk Franklin starts a new era.

Kirk Franklin has officially started his next chapter. “This Time” featuring GloRilla arrives today, built around a prominent sample of Shawty Lo’s “Dey Know,” and it is the newest single from his just-announced album I Am What I Am.

The album lands October 30 as a 14-track double album: seven studio recordings and seven live ones, including “Thank You For Everything” with Karen Clark Sheard. It is also Kirk’s first album under the new Fo Yo Soul, TRIBL and Uptown Records partnership.

ANTHNY’s debut album Worship Leader’s Diary is out today on Provident Entertainment and Sony Music. He wrote and produced all 13 tracks, blending contemporary worship with Christian R&B and soul.

He calls it his personal Book of Psalms: an honest look at what happens behind the platform when the person leading worship is working through his own faith, identity, purpose and struggles.

The name may be new to some listeners, but the résumé is not. ANTHNY has worked with Maverick City Music, Chandler Moore and Travis Greene, toured with Marvin Sapp and Tye Tribbett, and helped write Jubilee Worship’s “No Bondage.”

Red Worship’s 14-track live album WITNESS is here, recorded at Redemption Church in San Jose. It brings contemporary worship, Gospel, urban sounds, hymns and high praise into one room.

Songs already out from the project include “Memories” with Lizzie Morgan, “Yeshua” with Jonathan Stamper and Lizzie Morgan, “Christ Our King,” “Testify (Smell Like Smoke)” and “We Lift Your Name.”

The group is also up for two Dove Awards: Gospel Worship Recorded Song of the Year for “Something’s About to Shift (Live)” and Gospel Worship Album of the Year for Live at Redemption Church. This fall they join CeCe Winans, Terrian and Charity Gayle on tour.

Mercy Chinwo’s “My God You Are Good” is out today with audio and visuals. It is an upbeat praise record about gratitude and the goodness of God, previewed earlier this week before today’s full release.

Mercy is one of the most significant voices in Gospel worldwide, and African Gospel belongs in the main conversation.
