As I was boarding a flight, I asked the flight attendant if it was ok to move from the window to an aisle seat that no one was sitting in. I had already spotted the seat I wanted and it appeared as if no one was boarding to occupy the seat. She said, “let’s wait till everyone is on and seated and we are in the air and I’ll take care of you.” So, I went to my seat pulled out my Beats put on some PJ Morton and before I knew it, I was waking up from a nap. In my mind, I thought the flight attended would have at least waken me up and escort me to the requested seat. But she didn’t. As the flight attendant was walking the aisle picking up trash, she came to me and said, “sir, I had a seat for you in first class BUT you fell asleep.” She goes on to say, “I didn’t want to wake you up.” She said, “I said said sir trying to get your attention and I guess you couldn’t hear my voice.” She says, “I could hear your music and it was loud.” The Holy Spirit started speaking to me. So many of us miss the blessings God has for us not because he doesn’t want to bless us BUT because to many of us are SLEEP. I don’t mean physically sleep I mean metaphorically. Our attention is not on God. We are not alert. We are not listening for his voice. Somethings in our lives are louder than His voice. Understand, God is not obligated to bless you nor is he obligated to repeat himself. He does it because He loves you. Stay focus. Be ready. Stay woke. It’s you job to always remain alert and listening. You don’t want to miss the first-class blessing.

true. God is right there sending blessings, but we’re like somebody hollering “goose”–getting our attention away
