The 39th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards, set to take place on July 20th at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, promises to be an exceptional celebration for gospel music fans. Co-hosted by the Emmy Award-winning TV personality Loni Love and popular radio personality/comedian Rickey Smiley, this event is touted as “The Greatest Night in Gospel Music.”
Central City Productions has announced the nominees across 36 categories for this year’s Stellar Awards. Among the leading nominees, Tye Tribbett tops the list with eight nominations, followed closely by Pastor Mike Jr. and Ricky Dillard with six nominations each, and Jonathan McReynolds and Erica Campbell, each with five nominations.
Special honors this year include the Aretha Franklin Icon Award, which will be presented to the celebrated artist Kim Burrell, and the James Cleveland Lifetime Achievement Award, which will be bestowed upon GRAMMY and multiple Stellar Award winner Tye Tribbett.
