Five-time GRAMMY Award-winner Brandon Lake has unveiled his highly anticipated 16-track album, “COAT OF MANY COLORS,” available now on all digital and streaming platforms. The album features previously released hits like “PRAISE YOU ANYWHERE,” a track that shattered streaming records on Amazon Music and claimed the top spot on the Christian Audience Chart this week. Also included is “TEAR OFF THE ROOF,” whose music video intricately weaves scenes from the popular TV show “The Chosen,” highlighting Jesus’ miraculous works. The album’s cover showcases Lake in a coat of many colors, a symbol of transformation from “rags” to “riches,” designed by Greg Lauren, nephew of the iconic Ralph Lauren.
Lake shares the album’s profound theme: “We are all wrapped in a coat of many colors, clothed in the Father’s love and pride. Just like Joseph in the Bible, we might be misunderstood, face challenges, and need to trust our dreams and remain faithful to God. This album delves into Joseph’s journey from a pit to a palace.”
To mark the album’s launch, Lake hosted a pop-up shop at L&L Market in Nashville, featuring a mural of the cover art crafted by Stephen Sloan of Never Xtinct Murals.
Recently honored as Songwriter of the Year at ASCAP’s Christian Music Awards, Lake has been captivating audiences on Lauren Daigle’s The Kaleidoscope Tour. Next up, he embarks on his headlining Coat Of Many Colors Tour starting October 26. Click here for more information and to purchase tickets.
