From time to time people have asked me, how it is that I myself keep standing, “they ask how does one not give up the walking and working in the way, I tell them that it’s all in the press, you must keep pressing on in this Christian walk, until you come to the inevitable impasse experience where you feel as though you just can’t make it, and the truth is you are correct in your assumption.
“God tells us to be steadfast, unmovable always abounding in the work of the Lord, ( 1 Corinthians 15:58 ), but you will always come face to face with yourself at this point, “just when you arrive at this juncture of “Oh Lord help me I can’t fix this, do this or continue on, it is then that you are right where God wants you. You will have spent every last bit of yourself and your effort. This is where the power of God kicks in and carries you, you’re now in his strength and not your own. “Warning” do-not try to fake the impasse experience, The Holy Spirit will never show up until he sees a truly spent You!
