James Fortune Releases Highly Anticipated New Album “Worth It”

Today (9/22) marks the release of “WORTH IT,” the highly anticipated EP by James Fortune, a GRAMMY-nominated artist and multiple Stellar Award winner. This EP comprises seven tracks, each carrying a timely message of inspiration, serving as a reminder to listeners that their hardships and life trials were indeed “worth it.” Fortune affirms, “God will turn your pain into profit.”

Moreover, “WORTH IT” boasts remarkable collaborations with acclaimed artists, including GRAMMY-winner Monica on “Trusting God,” rapper Waka Flocka Flame on “Voyage,” and Stellar Award winner Zacardi Cortez on the title track, “Worth It.”

Currently based in Birmingham, Alabama, James Fortune excels at bridging the gap between gospel and praise music and a millennial audience. Some of his notable recordings include “The Transformation” (2007), which boasted the chart-topping single “I Trust You,” holding the No. 1 spot on Gospel radio for 25 consecutive weeks and reaching No. 30 on the Urban AC charts. Additionally, he released his first live album, the expansive two-disc set “Live Through It,” in early 2014. Notably, Fortune’s 2019 album, “DREAM AGAIN,” gave rise to the enduring Billboard #1 hit, “I AM.
