Synergy Media Entertainment announces their distribution deal with MNRK Music Group. With Marcus Pitt and Nicholas Cole as Co-CEOS, the deal will include the release of music from the entertainment group’s soulful and faith-based artists Imani Joi and Demarcus Kelly. Synergy Media & Entertainment Group was formed in 2015 through the much-expressed desires and need of fellow musicians, artists and organizations. The company in-houses three departments. It’s first is an independent recording label that serves as bridge for new artist and the recording industry. It’s second is an audio/visual design and installation department. This layer creates stage design, lighting, sound reinforcement, graphic design, videography and video editing. The third layer of Synergy is a state-of-the-art recording studio located in Greenville, North Carolina known as “Rock Springs Studio”. With its doors opening in 2017, Rock Springs serves as a creative space for individuals to gain a top-quality recording studio experience. Rock Springs services HD audio recording, mixing and mastering, and session player placement for artists and producers.
We’re so excited to be a part of the amazing family that is MNRK Nashville. We hope to add to the transcendent legacy that they have already established. As an indie label, we want to provide every tool necessary for our artists to succeed. Having a partnership with MNRK gives us the machinery we need to be successful. Demarcus & Imani’s new singles are a bright beginning to the future joint success that we will share, and we have so much more in store to share soon!” said the CEO’s of Synergy Media Entertainment Marcus Pitt and Nicholas Cole.
In March 2017, Synergy’s first artist Demarcus Kelly released his debut album entitled “Demarcus Kelly Presents: The Sound” which debuted at #12 on iTunes Christian charts. The record has also been serviced to most Billboard reporting stations around the country. Demarcus is a true worshiper who is pursuing the heart of God and ministering to the souls of people, everywhere. As a child, he was reared in the Mt. Gilead Missionary Baptist Church where he would grow in his faith and begin developing his God-given leadership abilities. Later, he served as Minister of Music for eight years, led the annual youth revivals, and started his own community choir, Youth N’ Praise. In 2012, his pastor and the Board of Elders recognized his call to ministry and ordained him as a Reverend. Demarcus’ passion for ministry can be heard and felt in his music. His new single ‘What Shall I Fear’ is an ode to the testimony of God’s people. “This track is a reminder that there’s no amount of fear that should ever stop our faith,” Demarcus says.
Imani Joi made history in 2018 by being the first female artist signed with Synergy Media Entertainment. Her debut single, “Grace” has received over 1.5 million streams across all digital platforms. As a “PK,” Imani started leading worship at the age of 12 and her parents have been instrumental in pushing her to grow and develop both musically and spiritually. Her most recent single, “He Can Do It” was named iTunes’ Best New Song in the first week of its release. ‘He Can Do It’ is a true testamate of her faith in God’s ability to deliver exactly what he promised. The songstress has been very vocal and unapologetic about living in her authenticity as a wife, mother and Gospel recording artist. “I make no apology for being who God called me to be. I love it over here in freedom,” Imani says. Above all, Imani’s desire is to see souls saved, lives changed, and to be a vessel used to the glory of God.
