RCA Inspiration celebrates the triumph of Maverick City Music and Kirk Franklin’s collaboration, “Bless Me,” which claimed victory in the esteemed Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award category at the 2023 BET Awards.

The BET Award victory marks the fifth prestigious accolade this year, recognizing the indelible impact of the songs from the 2022 album Kingdom Book One.
Previously, the album was honored with a 2023 NAACP Image Award and secured three wins at the 2023 GRAMMY Awards. The awe-inspiring recording of Kingdom Book One took place within the confines of a Florida prison yard, uniting 1,300 inmates in an unforgettable ministry experience. This groundbreaking project sheds light on the pressing issue of mass incarceration while also serving as a profound testament to the transformative power of God’s love, offering solace and restoration to those affected.
