In a resounding triumph, GRAMMY® award-nominated and R.I.A.A. certified gold-selling gospel sensation Anthony Brown & group therAPy have claimed the pinnacle of both the Billboard and Mediabase Gospel Airplay charts. Their uplifting anthem, “Speak Your Name” (Key of A / Tyscot / Fair Trade), has become a resounding testimony to the group’s musical prowess and spiritual resonance.

Produced by Anthony Brown alongside his longtime collaborator Justin Savage, “Speak Your Name” continues the duo’s legacy of chart-topping hits that have defined the gospel music landscape. With over a decade of collaboration, hits like “Trust in You,” “I Got That,” and the iconic “Worth” (which dominated the No. 1 position on Billboard magazine’s Gospel Airplay chart for an impressive 24 weeks in 2015) have solidified their status as gospel powerhouses.

The mid-tempo masterpiece begins with Brown’s distinctive baritone, resonating with the lyrics, “When we speak your name, something happens in the room. Our hands go up, we can’t wait to see what you’re gonna do.” This spiritually charged reflection transforms into a divine crescendo, featuring a captivating call-and-response vocal interplay between Brown and group therAPy.

“Speak Your Name” is a standout track from Anthony Brown & group therAPy’s latest album, “Affirmations” (Key of A / Tyscot / FairTrade). The 12-track offering made a remarkable debut on various Luminate non-published Album consumption charts, peaking at No. 3 on the Current Gospel Albums chart and securing the No. 16 spot on Billboard’s hybrid Top Gospel Albums chart.

A reviewer from The Journal of Gospel Music praises the album, stating, “There’s genuineness in the singing, majesty in the arrangements, and melodic variety in the selections.” Describing it as “bright, bristling, and optimistic in sound,” the album stands as a strong contender for the best gospel album of the year.

Congratulations to Anthony Brown & group therAPy for this accomplishment.
