It is with immeasurable grief that we confirm the passing of Chadwick Boseman.
Chadwick was diagnosed with stage III colon cancer in 2016, and battled with it these last 4 years as it progressed to stage IV.
A true fighter, Chadwick persevered through it all, and brought you many of the films you have come to love so much. From Marshall to Da 5 Bloods, August Wilson’s Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom and several more, all were filmed during and between countless surgeries and chemotherapy.
It was the honor of his career to bring King T’Challa to life in Black Panther.
He died in his home, with his wife and family by his side.
The family thanks you for your love and prayers, and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time.

So sorry to hear of the lost of Mr. Chadwick Boswman. I am just a fan but Mr Boswman was such a great actor. In his short acting career he produced such great movies. I love him in James Brown, Black Panther and so many more. He will truly be missed, my heart hurt with you. RIP Sir Boswman job well done!??

He is going to be greatly missed and appreciate for all that he has done. Young man I pray that one day God will put us someone into the White House who care for all of us and not just one color of people are one kind of people. I am a part of your pain because I say that I am Blessed. I am sadly that he died from Colon Cancer and didn’t get help as a young man and age I was dognose of Colon Cancer in 2004 and I am Blessed to my Heavenly Father to still be here. My Heart pain for him and y’all lost chain. Broken. I pray that God gives y’all strength ?????????
