Jonathan McReynolds Celebrates A Year of Triumphs in 2023

Renowned singer-songwriter-producer and author Jonathan McReynolds is wrapping up 2023 on a high note after a whirlwind year of achievements. At the GMA DOVE Awards, he not only presented but also clinched the “Contemporary Gospel/Urban Recorded Song of the Year” award for his hit single, “Your World.”

During the summer, McReynolds co-hosted the 38th Annual Stellar Gospel Awards alongside Tasha Cobbs Leonard, where his protege DOE, signed to his own record label, walked away with three Stellar Awards.

Earlier in the year, McReynolds released his highly anticipated fifth studio album, “My Truth,” which received rave reviews. The album, featuring the powerful #1 Gospel song “Your World,” continues to dominate the Billboard Magazine Gospel Charts, currently holding strong at #20. “Your World” reflects McReynolds’ growth and evolution, capturing the essence of God’s sovereignty in an intentionally upbeat and joyful tune.

To celebrate the success of “My Truth,” McReynolds embarked on a national headlining tour, captivating audiences across the country. In the spirit of giving back, he partnered with Compassion International, a child sponsorship and Christian humanitarian aid organization.

As an author, McReynolds released his first book, “Make Room: Finding Where Faith Fits,” inviting readers to make room for God in every aspect of life. He is now working on his sophomore book, set to be released in 2024 under his new publishing deal with W. Publishing.

In 2024, McReynolds will also assume the role of Professor, teaching a “Christians In Culture” course at The Moody Theological Seminary. Reflecting on his achievements, he expresses gratitude for the past year and eagerly anticipates the creative process for his next album.
